Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of Beachy. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
1. Provider
Beachy is provided by HelpFullStack, a Dutch sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak), KVK 75776022, Lumeijstraat 37-2, 1056 VV Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Contact: contact@getbeachy.app. Beachy is free at launch.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you may use Beachy only with that permission. Keep your information accurate and login secure. You are responsible for account activity. You can permanently delete your account and associated content in Account settings, except limited records retained by law or for abuse and claims.
3. Beach information and safety
Beachy is a discovery and planning service, not an emergency, navigation, weather, medical, or safety service. Conditions, access, facilities, tides, currents, water quality, lifeguard coverage, and rules change. Check official and local sources, obey warnings, and assess conditions yourself.
4. Beach photos
Beach photos in Beachy come from third-party and publicly available sources. The rights in each photo stay with the person who took it, and showing a photo in Beachy is not a claim that HelpFullStack owns it. If a photo is yours and you want it removed, tap "Request removal" in the photo viewer or email contact@getbeachy.app with the beach name and the photo. We remove photos within 7 days of a request, and sooner where the law requires it.
5. Your content
You own your content and give HelpFullStack a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, format, display, moderate, and distribute it as needed to operate, improve, and promote Beachy. The license ends on deletion except for temporary backups and copies already lawfully shared outside our control. Only submit content you have the right to share and reviews based on genuine experiences.
6. Prohibited use
- Illegal, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, deceptive, infringing, or privacy-invasive content.
- Harassment, rating manipulation, impersonation, spam, or fabricated reviews.
- Scraping, reverse engineering, disruption, security probing, or bypassing access controls.
- Using Beachy data to build a competing dataset or service without permission.
7. Moderation
We may filter or remove content and warn, suspend, or terminate accounts to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or keep Beachy reliable. Users can report content and block reviewers. We aim to assess reports within 48 hours.
8. Availability, changes, and liability
Features may change or stop. Material Terms changes will be communicated before taking effect. Beachy is provided “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, HelpFullStack is not liable for indirect loss, inaccurate third-party or user content, changing beach conditions, or events outside reasonable control. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded. Where liability may be limited, total liability is limited to EUR 100 because Beachy is free at launch.
9. Law
Dutch law applies and disputes may be submitted to competent Dutch courts, without affecting mandatory consumer rights to bring a claim elsewhere. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter.
